Community Projects & Club Operations
- Community Projects -- Each year members elect to work on standing committees that support beautification, conservation, or education within the Charlevoix area. An exception is the MGC Life Membership committee, which awards, almost exclusively, garden club members who make a significant difference in the club and community.
- Club Operations -- Club operations include preparing Books of Evidence for Michigan Garden Clubs and National Garden Clubs awards; publishing the Club Program Book; maintaining the history of the club; publishing a newsletter and maintaining the web site; taking care of membership and publicity; and selecting and financing special community projects.
