Our August Membership gathering will be a field trip to Bear Creek Organic Farm in Petoskey - where we will meet farmer Brian Bates, who with his wife Anne, founded Petoskey's first 100 percent USDA Certified Organic farm. They now operate a year-round organic market and a seasonal food truck on their farm. They seek to educate the community on the benefits of local, organic, and pollinator-friendly agriculture.

Registration is now open for the Michigan Garden Club's District 5 Fall Meeting - hosted by the Petoskey Garden Club and the Boyne Valley Garden Club. The meeting includes morning coffee, speakers, lunch, vendors, and a silent auction. The fee to attend is $45. The CAGC will offset $10 of the registration fee for members.

Visit our bright yellow tent in East Park during Applefest to purchase flower bulbs for fall planting. We will have a selection of daffodils, allium, and other deer-resistant bulbs that will provide beautiful blooms in the spring. We will also have our curated selection of garden tools and gloves for sale. All proceeds support the mission of our club - to beautify our community.
